JAK’S specializes in the design and creation of women’s accessories and the main product of its collections is the handbag. JAK’S was born from an unexpected meeting between the delicate charm of the Orient and the pure daring of two sisters from Québec City. A favorite of JAK’S, the handbag, is at the heart of a new style of women's fashion and is certain to make heads turn. Combined with sandals, caps and belts, this "must-have" imbues each outfit with something special, gorgeous and unique. Every detail of the various products is meticulously designed and offers genuine pleasure and a sensitive experience to the eye. The richness of the colors and textures brings to mind the exoticism which inspires these ultra-feminine creations.

Behind JAK’S label are Sophie and Karine Dionne, two sisters whose passion for fashion is undeniable. Interested in the diversity of styles and guided by their glittering intuition, they create and present two collections of women’s accessories per year. They take care of everything: from design to production! They go to Ho Chi Minh City, in Vietnam, several times a year to choose the fabrics, materials, and small decorative details that will then allow the skilled local craft workers to bring their creations to life. Upon their return to Québec, they devote their time to the marketing of their products and the developing of their business.

Before setting up JAK’S, the two young women, native of Québec City, were working in very different fields. Karine, an engineer, and Sophie, qualified in international management, were both far from imagining that their business skills and creativity would lead them so far. In fact, Karine’s tremendous drive and Sophie’s vivid imagination represent the key elements that ensure the balance to their actions, and therefore, the success of JAK’S. While Karine visualizes the outlines of the collections, Sophie enjoys taking care of the distinctive features of each model. Their strengths and ideas are combined and this winning combination makes JAK’S one of a kind.
